Saving a set

Each movement in a workout is one card. Do the set, check the numbers in the open row, and tap Save set. The boxes are already filled in, so most sets take one tap.

Save a set

  1. Do the set shown in the open row.
  2. Check the reps. The box is filled from last time or from the target, and the small word under it says which.
  3. Check the weight. Use the minus and plus buttons, or type a number. A band movement asks for a level instead.
  4. Tap Save set.

A rest timer then counts down on the next row. Tap Skip to end it early. The next row is ready to edit as soon as the rest ends or you skip it.

A timed movement, such as a plank or a carry, asks for seconds in place of reps.

Changing the weight mid-workout

If the weight feels too heavy, lower it before you save. That counts as an adjustment within the session, not a step back. Your next session on that movement starts from the planned weight again.

Before your working sets

Some movements show extra rows first:

  • Warm-up sets prepare a heavier lift. Save each with Save warm-up set, or tap Skip warm-up sets today. They never count toward progress.
  • A weight-finding ramp runs when Axial Fit does not know your weight on a movement yet. Do two or three controlled reps at the weight shown, then answer How did that feel? with Easy, About right or Heavy. After a few short sets, the working weight is set. Ramp sets never count toward progress.

Already know your weight? Tap Skip the ramp and enter my weight, type it, and choose Save this weight for this movement or Save and stop asking to turn ramps off everywhere. You can turn them back on in Settings under I know my working weights.

After the last set of a movement

When your numbers already decide the next session, the last row says so, for example "Next time: same weight, one set was short of the range."

Otherwise the next screen asks one question, such as How did goblet squat feel overall? Choose I could do another set, About right, Weight too light or Weight too heavy, then tap Save, or Skip to answer nothing. About right is already selected. See When the weight goes up.

If something hurts

  1. Tap Something hurt? under the card.
  2. Tick Yes, something hurt on this set.
  3. Say where you felt it, how severe it was (Mild, Moderate or Severe) and when it happened.
  4. Tap Save set to record it.

That movement stops for today and is never read as progress. If you report severe pain, the session ends: stop exercising, and get medical help for severe or urgent symptoms. Axial Fit does not diagnose.

Guided mode

In Guided mode, tap Start set to run a work timer, and tap +1 rep as you go if you like. Tap Done and the set form opens with your reps filled in, still editable. Both modes record exactly the same thing. You can switch between movements.

Stopping and coming back

  • Leave the page or refresh and your workout waits. Today shows Continue workout.
  • End workout under the card ends the session. Ended work stays recorded but does not count as a completed workout.
  • Between movements you can swap a movement or skip one.
