Your data and privacy
Your training data is yours. Axial Fit keeps what it needs to build your plan and explain it, shows it to you and to the people you choose, and does not sell it or use it for advertising.
What Axial Fit keeps
- Your account: email address, name, time zone and units. Your password stays with the sign-in service.
- Profile and goals: height, weight, your birthday or an age range, experience, limitations, goals, training days, and the names of your training places.
- Equipment, check-ins, and every set and session you log, with any pain you report.
- Decisions: every decision made about your plan, with its reason, and any advice you chose to go against.
- Body measurements and photos, only if you add them.
- Your health question answers and when you gave them.
- Messages, including those with your coach.
Why
To build your plan from fixed rules, to keep training safe, to show your progress, and to run the service. Each decision is kept with its reason so any change can be explained later. Your blood pressure is a record you keep; no rule reads it.
Who can see it
- You, always.
- Your coach, only what you allow, switch by switch in Settings. A coach never sees your health answers, date of birth, body fat, blood pressure or billing, and sees your check-in notes only if you turn on “See your check-in notes”. See Working with a coach.
- The people who run Axial Fit can see your name and email, your account status and devices, a list of your recent sessions, your conversations with Eve, and the feedback you leave after a session, to support you and check the service works. No staff page shows your health answers, check-ins, measurements or photos.
Your birthday is optional. It sets the age range your plan uses and is on no admin page. Your coach is told on your birthday only if you turn that on.
Photos
Progress photos are private and never public. When you save one, Axial Fit removes the hidden details a phone stores in the file, such as where it was taken, and keeps only the picture.
Outside services
Axial Fit uses outside services, and each gets only what its job needs: hosting and file storage, sign-in, payments, email delivery, error reports, and the AI model provider behind Eve, the assistant that is turned on for some accounts. Card details go to the payment processor and never reach Axial Fit. You can ask for the list of providers by writing to support.
Cookies and email
Axial Fit sets only the cookies it needs to sign you in and keep you signed in, follow an invitation link, and pass you to checkout. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Sign-in and account emails always come. Product news, and copies of your inbox messages, come only while their switches on your Account page are on. No email carries a tracking image.
Axial Fit does not read from Apple Health, Health Connect or any watch.
Get a copy of your data
- Open your Account page.
- Under Your data, tap Download my data. You may be asked to sign in again.
You get one file with your account and profile, goals, check-ins, workouts, sessions, every decision with its reason, measurements, health answers, messages, coaching, billing status and your photos.
How long it is kept
Your records are kept while you have an account, because your plan is built from your history. Security records keep only a scrambled form of your network address and are deleted within about seven months. Messages are encrypted where they are stored, but not end-to-end encrypted. Backups are encrypted and each is deleted after 30 days. To delete your account, see Deleting your account.
Keeping it safe
- Every connection is encrypted.
- Every page checks that what it shows belongs to the person asking.
- Your Account page lists every signed-in device, and you can sign any of them out. See Signing in.
Axial Fit is for people 18 and older. The full Privacy policy has every detail; if this page and the policy ever differ, the policy is what applies.
